The Virginia Railway Express (VRE) has named T. R. "Tom" Hickey chief development officer and Bryan Jungwirth, director of public affairs and government relations.
A former Delaware state railroad administrator and general manager for Port Authority Transit Corp., Hickey most recently was senior director of rail and transit on the East Coast for CH2M HILL. He will be responsible for planning, engineering, and construction at VRE.
Jungwirth previously served as acting executive director and chief of staff at Valley Metro, and is a two-time past president of the Arizona Transit Association. He will be responsible for VRE's marketing, public affairs and government relations functions.
