Metrolinx to assume control of Ontario's Air Rail Link project

Toronto’s Metrolinx has been asked by the Ontario government to build, own and operate the Air Rail Link (ARL), which will run from Union Station to Pearson Airport.
ARL, which will provide express rail shuttle service, is expected to be completed by the 2015 Pan American Games.
Construction also is already under way on GO Transit's Georgetown Corridor to support the ARL connection.
