The acquisition brings the total of the first trainset to 12 cars for the X Train, which will extend passenger-rail service between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, X Train officials said in a prepared statement.
"We continue to acquire sets of rail cars," said X Train President and Chief Executive Officer Michael Barron. "Our plan is to include these cars into the previous purchase set and to begin renovation work later this year."
