Wabtec Corp. today reported third-quarter 2026 financial results, including total sales of $3.12 billion, up 8.1% from the same quarter in 2025.
The company posted sales increases across freight, service, equipment, digital, components and transit segments. For the quarter, equipment sales were up 0.3% from increased mining sales, which were partially offset by lower locomotive deliveries, Wabtec officials said in a press release.
Digital sales increased 24.2%, driven primarily by the acquisition of Frauscher Sensor Technologies. Components sales increased 5.3% driven by industrial, maintenance of way and international demand, which offset lower North American rail build and portfolio optimization efforts.
Q3 2026 cash flow totaled $455 million, up from $367 million in Q3 2025. The growth is attributable to higher net income, officials said.
Wabtec's adjusted operating margin was 22.9%, up 1.9 points over Q3 2025 as a result of improved gross margins. Quarterly adjusted earnings per diluted share increased 22% to $2.83.
Wabtec raised and tightened its 2026 adjusted earnings per share guidance range by 20 cents at the midpoint, to between $10.85 and $11.05, and its full-year 2026 revenue guidance range by 11.5% at the midpoint, to between $12.3 billion and $12.6 billion.
