The House Subcommittee on Railroads, Pipelines, and Hazardous Materials will hold a hearing tomorrow to review railroad, pipeline, and hazardous materials safety regulations and potential reforms.U.S. Rep. Jeff Denham (R-Calif.), who chairs the subcommittee, will oversee the hearing. Among those scheduled to testify are Linda Darr, president of the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association; Roger Nober, executive vice president of law and corporate affairs at BNSF Railway Co.; and John Tolman, vice president and national legislative representative of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Trainmen (BLET).The hearing will begin at 10 a.m. Eastern time and will be live-streamed through the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure's website.
