Amtrak has unveiled a new website dedicated to providing news and information about the Northeast Corridor.NEC.amtrak.com will include information about improvement projects underway and the railroad's vision for the corridor's future, Amtrak officials said in the "Amtrak Ink" newsletter.Recently developed by the Northeast Corridor Infrastructure and Investment Development business line, the site includes historical data on NEC; highlights of more than 20 improvement projects spanning the corridor's length from Boston to Washington, D.C.; interactive maps; ridership data; and a resource section where users can download or share reports, fact sheets and graphics about the NEC.
