Railroad Civil Engineer

Experience: 5 to 20 years. Civil Engineer license in any state required. California Civil PE license desired. Must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable dealing directly with clients, able to write reports and technical memorandums, conduct project meetings and mentor project engineers. Railroad Signal Engineer
Experience: 3 to 20 years. Proficient in highway grade crossing warning design including four-quadrant gate systems, advanced preemption, microprocessor-based constant warning time devices, wayside signaling including ABS, CTC and Interlocking, both relay logic and Boolean or Ladder logic. Familiarity with AREMA C&S Recommended Practices, FRA regulations, railroad operating rules as well as familiarity with railroad signal construction practices and testing is required. California PE license or ability to obtain CA PE license desired but not required. Position Location: Los Angeles, CA
Project Manager – Civil/Traffic
Experience: 5 to 10 years. California Civil Engineer license required. Experience managing and designing traffic signals, signing and striping plans and traffic control plans. Experience with rail related projects including rail-interconnected traffic signals desired. Must have excellent communication skills, be comfortable dealing directly with clients, able to write reports and technical memorandums, conduct project meetings and mentor project engineers. Must have ability to manage multiple projects at a single time. Position Location: Irvine, CA
Assistant Construction Manager/Office Engineer
Experience: 5 to 10 years. Four year degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or demonstrated equivalent experience. Familiarity with NCTD, BNSF, MTS and the City of San Diego standards and practices. Must have excellent oral and written communications skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Will be required to participate in meetings, write and distribute meeting minutes, assist in preparation of progress reports, review of test reports, maintain photo/video records of construction, review as-builts, coordinate/conduct field inspections, develop estimates, etc. Position Location: San Diego, CA
