BNSF Logistics names 2011 Carrier Excellence Award winners
BNSF Logistics L.L.C. has announced the recipients of the 2011 Carrier Excellence Award.
The third-party logistics and supply-chain solutions firm distributes the annual award to domestic and international transportation service providers. The service providers were nominated by members of the BNSF Logistics operations team, then evaluated using multiple performance metrics, including on-time service, capacity and overall customer service performance.
Service providers were divided by transportation service type, as well as fleet size.
The 2011 award winners are: Pehler & Sons (truckload — small and midsize); Transport Distribution Co. (truckload — large); J.B. Hunt Transport Services (intermodal); YRC Freight (less-than-truckload); BNSF Railway Co. (rail); Maersk Lines (ocean); and American Airlines Cargo (air).
