Tallies, totals and other trend data in the freight transportation realm


 FTR’s Shippers Conditions Index (SCI) for March fell to -17.8, its lowest reading on record, FTR reported on May 21. The March reading was more than five points lower than February’s, “reflecting an across-the-board decline month over month in the components that make up the SCI,” FTR officials said.
