Job history: Beth has worked for the MTA Long Island Rail Road for 30 years, beginning as an assistant conductor and rising through the ranks to her current role. As she advanced through the LIRR, she held various management roles in the stations department before moving into technological leadership that was pivotal for the LIRR customer service experience. She was promoted to senior director of project planning in 2015, to chief transportation officer in 2021 and to her current role in 2023.

As LIRR's CTO, she was responsible for safe and efficient movement of LIRR trains and equipment and ensured operational readiness for planned events and emergencies.
Beth has been instrumental in delivering some of the most complex and high-impact capital projects in LIRR history, including the implementation of positive train control and the tower mitigation initiative, both critical upgrades that improved safety and regulatory compliance. She has had a central role in expanding service, such as through the East Side Access (Grand Central Madison) project.
