Additionally, he manages vendor relationships and contractor support for specialized services, and is involved in procurement planning and inventory control.

He manages unionized maintenance teams in a safety-sensitive environment, ensuring supervisors assign work based on skill sets and certifications. Gamonal also supports workforce development through ongoing training, particularly in evolving rail vehicle technologies, onboard diagnosis systems and safety procedures.
