Rail Experience: Williams' railroad experience spans more than two decades across operations, project management, procurement and digital innovation, according to the League of Railway Women (LRW), which nominated her. She began her career in the rail industry in 2004 with a woman-owned contractor and has since held key roles with various organizations, including Herzog Railroad Services, CPKC and Wabtec Corp. She has managed MOW equipment and rail-car lease agreements across North America, led cross-functional teams and completed immersive operational assignments through CPKC's LEAD Program, providing a well-rounded, boots-in-the-ballast understanding of the industry.
Mentorship Role: Through the LRW's mentorship program, Williams has built a meaningful and impactful mentor-mentee relationship grounded in both guidance and genuine connection. She brings a wealth of real-world experience and a willingness to share it openly, helping her mentee better understand the many pathways within the rail industry and navigate early career decisions with clarity.
