Rail Experience: With 23 years of experience in railroad operations, Seidl has built a career defined by operational expertise, safety leadership and commitment to developing people. She began her railroad career as a train dispatcher and progressed through roles from frontline operations to senior leadership. Seidls experiences have provided a comprehensive understanding of the railroad's operational structure and the demands placed on employees at every level. This breadth of experience enables her to provide valuable perspective, guidance, and mentorship to emerging leaders navigating the complexities of railroad operations.
Mentorship Role: Seidl is a mentor through NS' Women in Operations committee, supporting an established mentorship program focused on developing and retaining women in operational roles. Through this program, she mentors a younger female employee from a different department, offering career guidance, leadership support and operational perspective. Additionally, Seidl plays a critical role in developing new leaders within the Network Operations Center. She mentors newly assigned chief dispatchers, helping prepare them for the role's demands. Her approach emphasizes strong foundational division knowledge, technical proficiency and sound decision-making skills.

She has led safety initiatives within the Network Operations Center and reinforces the principle that safety is fundamental to every operational outcome.
