As part of the largest combined railway exhibition and technical conference in North America, the more than 340,000 square feet of combined indoor exhibit display space at Railway Interchange 2017 promises to cover every type of railroad product or service, organizers say. The event will run Sept. 17-20 at the Indiana Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. Exhibit space is on sale now by the Railway Interchange 2017 organizers: the Railway Supply Institute (RSI), Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA) and Railway Systems Suppliers Inc. (RSSI). So far, over 90 percent of the exhibit hall is reserved. Exhibitors associated with RSI are companies and organizations from all key segments of the rail industry, including: locomotive and freight-car manufacturers, tank car manufacturers, mechanical systems and component suppliers, railway measurement and maintenance systems, rolling stock leasing services, and other rail industry services.Potential exhibitors associated with REMSA include a range of track and non-track-bound products and services in several categories, including track safety and inspection, track and rail maintenance, track machinery and tools, and track structure components and supplies. Exhibits in the RSSI hall are companies that fit into one of these categories: communication systems, signal systems, information technology, crossing components and systems, wayside information systems, power switches and more.
