July conference sets sights on U.S./Canada border security

Next month, the International Cargo Security Council will present the first-ever cross-border cargo security conference involving U.S. and Canadian representatives from both government and the private sector. Sponsored by the council, the event will be held July 10-12 at the Renaissance Fallsview Hotel in Niagara Falls, Ontario.

The conference will feature "24 of the most renowned U.S. and Canadian security and logistics experts," as well speakers and panelists who are knowledgeable about cross-border security and customs regulations, best practices and technology, according to a prepared statement. In addition, the Canada Border Services Agency will provide a tour of an international entry and departure point on the Canada/U.S. border.
