The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (L.A. Metro) last week announced an awareness campaign called "Keep Metro Clean and Safe" to protect employees and riders from COVID-19 and improve the rider experience by promoting shared responsibility and mutual respect.
The campaign focuses on these rules: mask-wearing and L.A. Metro is a no-smoking and no-littering zone.
"Metro has heard our riders call for a cleaner, safer system loud and clear,”"said L.A. Metro Chair Hilda Solis in a press release.
