Valley Metro hired William Tsuei as chief technology officer, the agency announced yesterday. He has more than 25 years of experience in information technology, with eight of those years in the transit industry. His prior work experience includes stints as IT senior manager for Access Services in Los Angeles and IT director for Omnitrans in San Bernardino, Calif.Tsuei also has worked in IT for Ciber, Inc. in Denver, as well as for the Eastern Home Shopping Network in Taipei, Taiwan and Los Angeles. Tsuei serves as chair of the American Public Transportation Association's IT Committee.
