Class I rosters

Canadian Pacific Railway Co. named Michael Lambert executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Union Pacific Railroad promoted Shane Keller to assistant vice president-locomotive distribution; Brian Gorton, general superintendent of transportation services for the San Antonio Service Unit to succeed Keller; Steve Truit, superintendent of transportation services of the Wichita Service Unit to succeed Gorton; and Randy Hanks, general director of transportation planning in the Class I’s Network Planning and Operations Department.

Federal appointees

The Senate confirmed the nomination of Mary Peters as U.S. transportation secretary.

The U.S. Department of Transportation named Trinity Railway Express Chief Operating Officer Pete Sklannik to its Langston University Transportation Programs Intermodal Advisory Committee.
