KCS' new security council conducts first meeting



Last week, Kansas City Southern's recently formed security council held its first meeting in Kansas City, Mo.

Council members — who will meet quarterly or more often if needed — plan to promote more dialogue between departments that have direct security responsibilities. Chief of Police Al Rawls heads the council; Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Gerald Davies consults on council activities.

Council members include Tom Healey, associate general counsel; Chet Culley, general director of environmental quality; Rick Stones, director of business solutions delivery; Rich Venditti, director of human resources, and Doniele Kane, director of corporate communications and community affairs.
