DART: Make it four months in a row with record ridership

For the fourth-straight month, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) has registered record ridership on its light-rail and bus systems, as well as the Trinity Railway Express (TRE), which DART operates in conjunction with the Fort Worth Transportation Authority.

Weekday ridership on the agency's light-rail system averaged 73,058, up 17.6 percent vs. August 2007, while TRE's average weekday ridership totaled 11,092, up 19.5 percent year over year.
