The Specialist, Reliability utilizes quantitative reliability engineering concepts and techniques to optimize maintenance practices for Track Maintenance Work Equipment by increasing reliability while at the same time reducing life cycle costs. The Specialist, Reliability also provides reliability engineering expertise in all maintenance and equipment planning activities. The successful candidate has direct responsibility in the development and maintenance and reliability processes for subsystem analysis, processes and rules to enable the implementation and execution of maintenance strategies to improve Work Equipment reliability. The successful candidate will possess an Engineering degree, Mechanical concentration, with strong emphasis on statistical and reliability methods. Experience in maintenance of railway or mobile equipment an asset. .
