In 2009, Virginia launched its first state-supported intercity passenger-rail service, between Lynchburg and Washington, D.C. Since then, the state has implemented a second service between Richmond and D.C. In this podcast, Virginia DRPT Director Thelma Drake talks about the success of those services, how they'll be funded and how the commonwealth plans to expand its offerings in the future.
