Earlier this year, Metrolink and the University of Southern California’s Viterbi School of Engineering formed a partnership that created an advanced Rail System Safety Certification Program. In August, more than 40 Metrolink employees and contractor coworkers completed the program’s first class. According to Metrolink CEO John Fenton, the new program has the potential to pioneer efforts to standardize system safety leadership principles across the railroad industry. |
